Bloom of the Last Bough

House Bloom of the Last Bough is an an exiled noble family of Lordaeron, with the fellowship gathered beneath its banner known informally as 'the Bough'. Beginning as a band of exiled retainers, soldiers, servants, craftsmen and refugees, the Boughfolk were calcified by a shared sense of outsiderhood. Years later, the bonds remain fastly rooted. Beneath House Bloom’s banner, they have found a place to belong — and a common purpose in preparing for the day they would return home. The Bough seeks wealth, influence and knowledge, with aspirations of building an empire capable of wrestling back power in the scourged north. Its people earn their living through contracts and expeditions; while its leaders broker powerful alliances and pursue lucrative opportunities across Azeroth. Behind the glamours of noble life lie private ambitions, dangerous research and complicated choices about the cost of restoration. Stories within the Bough include flavours of household life, political intrigue, adventure, but most promentantly the personal stories of people rebuilding their lives in the wake of catastrophe. A guardsman supporting a family, a scholar seeking patronage, a displaced wanderer looking for steady work — all might find a place beneath the branches. Every contract fulfilled, favour secured and alliance forged brings the Bough closer to its dream of a restored north. As the House’s fortunes grow, its people must decide what they are willing to risk for that future — and who stands to inherit the rewards of their sacrifices.
